Awards for best bachelor degrees and Hausdorff Prize

Every year the Bonner Mathematische Gesellschaft rewards the best bachelor degrees with a book prize and €250. The best dissertation of the year receives the Hausdorff-Gedächtnispreis with a book prize and €500 from the Fachgruppe Mathematik.

Awards for best bachelor degrees and Hausdorff Prize

Aras Ergus, Daniel Koenen, Tobias Lenz, and Fabian Zaiser received the annual prize for the best bachelor degrees by the Bonner Mathematische Gesellschaft:

  • Aras Ergus: "Loop Objects in Pointed Derivators" (advisor: Dr. Moritz Groth)
  • Tobias Lenz: "Gamma-Räume" (advisor: Prof. Dr. Stefan Schwede)
  • Daniel Koenen: "Subgeometrische Konvergenzraten von Markovprozessen und eine Anwendung auf SDDEs" (advisor: Prof. Dr. Andreas Eberle)
  • Fabian Zaiser: "Massey Products and Configuration Spaces" (advisor: Dr. Thomas Nikolaus)



Dr. Robert Anselm Kucharczyk was awarded the Hausdorff Gedächtnispreis for the best dissertation in Mathematics for his thesis "On arithmetic properties of Fuchsian groups and Riemann surfaces".
