Every student enrolled in the Master's program in mathematics is obliged to complete the registration for the Master examination in the first semester in Bonn.
Registration for the Master examination

Every student enrolled in the Master's program in mathematics is requested to complete the registration for the Master examination in the first semester in Bonn, as a formal act. This registration needs to be entered on your study account before you can register online for courses. The registration period can be found in the calendar.

For the registration in the Bachelor-Master Office please bring the signed registration form for the Master examination.

Furthermore, if you have not completed your Bachelor studies at the University of Bonn, we also need

  1. your passport,

  2. your student ID,

  3. proof of your Bachelor qualification, consisting of

    • your Bachelor degree diploma ("Urkunde") and

    • the final transcript of records listing all modules and grades which were credited towards your Bachelor degree ("Zeugnis").

Please bring or send us the registration form as well as the documents no. 1. and no. 2 as scans. We will then put your registration into the database, and you will be able to register for courses (i.e. graduate seminars).

Your Bachelor qualification (no. 3.) can be sent later, but you need to present it before the end of your first semester of the Master study program, at the latest. When you hand in copies of these documents please note:

  • If you show us the originals for comparison then we accept simple copies.

  • If you do not bring the originals then the copies must be officially certified.
