Tainara Borges joined the Mathematical Institute at the University of Bonn in August 2026 as a postdoctoral researcher working with Prof. Christoph Thiele. She received her PhD in Mathematics from Brown University in 2025 under the supervision of Prof. Jill Pipher and subsequently spent a year as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Pennsylvania.
Her research lies in harmonic analysis and geometric measure theory, with particular interests in Falconer-type problems, multilinear analysis, maximal and singular integral operators, sparse domination, and weighted estimates.
