Dr. Irina Aleksandrova joined HSM as a Postdoc in April 2025. Since January 2025, she is a member of the Functional Analysis Group at the Institute for Applied Mathematics, where she works with Prof. Dr. Juan Velázquez. Her research project "Stability and robustness issues for linear and nonlinear time delay systems" is funded by the DFG. Prior to that, she was an Associate Professor at St. Petersburg State University, Russia since 2016, where she completed her PhD in 2015.
Her research interests lie in the stability theory for differential equations with delay, with the emphasis on Lyapunov-based methods.
