Sean Cotner joined the Mathematical Institute in June 2026 as a postdoc in the Arithmetic Geometry and Representation Theory group, under Jessica Fintzen. Before this, he was a postdoc at the University of Michigan after receiving his PhD at Stanford University.
He is interested in arithmetic geometry and currently works on integral aspects of the local Langlands program. In his free time, he likes to play the guitar.
