Stefanie Zbinden completed her PhD in 2025 at the Heriot-Watt university in Edinburgh and is now a Postdoc in the group of Prof. Giles Gardam. Prior to that, she finished her Master's degree at the ETH Zürich.
Her main research area is geometric group theory with a focus on negative curvatrue and boundaries but she is also interested in algorithmic questions such as solving the word problem efficiently and other topics in computer algebra.
