Stefanos Lappas has been a postdoctoral researcher at the Mathematical Institute since May 2026, supervised by Prof. Christoph Thiele.
He focused his research on dyadic harmonic analysis, wavelet theory, linear and multilinear singular integral operators, extrapolation of compactness on weighted spaces, Littlewood-Paley-Stein and semigroup theory. He was formerly a postdoctoral researcher at Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Lenka Slavíková and obtained his PhD from the University of Helsinki, Finland, supervised by Prof. Tuomas Hytönen.
