Stefan Hartmann has been involved in promoting gifted students for more than 25 years. He has been working at the Hausdorff Center for Mathematics (HCM) since 2017, where he is responsible for numerous school projects - such as the Bonn Maths Club and the Bonn Mathematics Tournament - which he organizes and runs together with a large team. He has now received an award from the DMV specifically for his commitment to promoting young mathematical talent, far beyond the borders of Bonn. In this Interview, Stefan Hartmann describes his current focus and plans for the future.

Stefan Hartmann, who is responsible for outreach and science communication at the Hausdorff Center for Mathematics (HCM), was named “Mathemacher der Monate Juli und August” by the German Mathematical Society (DMV).
