The Hausdorff Center for Mathematics (HCM) is formed by six participating institutes. The involved faculty consists of more than 60 Bonn professors. Three main activities have been established as components of HCM:
- The Hausdorff Research Institute for Mathematics (HIM) which hosts research programs with international guest scientists,
- The Bonn International Graduate School of Mathematics (BIGS), uniting the diverse possibilities for PhD studies in Bonn,
- The Hausdorff School for Advanced Studies in Mathematics (HSM) is a training program for postdoctoral researchers.
