A set of amendments to the examination regulations of the Mathematics degree programs will come into effect in the 2026/27 winter semester. These regulations will apply to all students enrolled in bachelor's, master's, and teacher training programs of Mathematics from October 1, 2026. Registration for seminars takes place in two steps: 1) Binding registration with the lecturer with signature and topic assignment; 2) Technical registration via BASIS during the registration period. The practical trainings (Practical Teaching Course and Programming Labs) are also registered via BASIS. For the Practical Teaching Course, please select the lecturer of the lecture you are tutoring as the examiner. Registration for an External Internship is not bound to the deadline, please use the form.

In a typical summer semester, two to three seminars 'Höhere Mathematik' (MB04) are offered. The lecturers present their seminars in an information event. This usually takes place in the second half of January. All interested students can then register for the seminars using an online form. Once the entries have been evaluated, the allocation list will be published in the calendar so that you can see which seminar you are in. An all-day tutors' training course takes place on a Saturday at the beginning of each winter semester as preparation for the tutorials, particularly with regard to a Practical Teaching Course. All students who wish to work as tutors in the next two semesters are strongly recommended to attend this event. The training will cover the following topics, among others: - expectations of tutors - uncertainties - diversity - correcting homework - presentation of solutions - appearance as a leader - collegial case consultation - portfolio for the Practical Teaching Course. If you are interested, please register via the course set up for the training in eCampus (see below). All further information will be provided there.

You will receive an overview of the course of study and important information from the Bachelor-Master Office on the procedures involved in studying mathematics.
