School Activities for Girls

Many of our activities for school children and students are directly aimed at increasing the proportion of girls interested in mathematics.

Girls Do Math

Every year in Bonn, we organize the "Mädchen machen Mathe" (“Girls do math”) event for girls from all over Germany who have qualified for it by winning competitions. We also want to establish a nationwide network of mathematically talented girls.

Girls' Day

Every year in April, companies and universities open their doors to interested girls. With us, you get to know female mathematicians and find out how much fun math can be.

EGMO

HCM has suported the annual selection and preparation of the German team for the European Girls' Mathematical Olympiad (EGMO) for many years.
